mel gibson buys an island in fiji
According to our favorite peeps over at The Superficial, Mel Gibson just paid $15M for Mago Island in Fiji... Nice! I guess he had to out do Johnny Depp, who also bought an island this year for 1.9M pounds. Though Depp's bought in the Caribbean, near Richard Branson and Marlon Brando -- I guess Mel wants to stay near Oz. Mago Island looks nice.. at 5,400 acres, it's the largest privately owned fee simple island in the South Pacific... and.. "400+ head of cattle, 16 horses, 300 goats, pigs and other domestic and non-domesticated livestock". Whoohoo!
I want an island too.. everyone's doing it.
